  • Short description of the replacement or dismantling
In June 2007, the bulldozers demolished the Palenque and threw down the memories of the most popular stage of the Expo '92. That space, designed by the architect José Miguel de la Prada Poole, where the events of the official days of the Expo participants were held, had become, with its tent of multiple cones, its 500 square metre stage surrounded by fountains and its stands with a capacity for 1,500 seated spectators and 4,000 standing spectators, an emblematic building. So much so that for fifteen years it continued to be used for concerts, cultural events and even as a stage for television programmes.
