CEN/TC 250/WG 5 meeting
21 January 2026The WG Eurocode & specifications organises on regular basis CEN/TC 250/WG 5 meetings. They are currently working on the Execution rules.
WEBINAR - PFAS restriction process, fluoropolymers and PFAS, membrane materials and the next SEAC consultation.
5 February 2026PFAS (per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances) are a diverse family of chemicals.
Not all PFAS are the same. Each should be treated differently. PTFE's unique combination of properties sets it apart from other materials and makes it vital to the sectors it serves, especially tensile architecture. Regulation against all PFAS could result in tensioned membrane structures becoming obsolete.
Members of the Fluoropolymer Product Group (FPG) have provided the industry and its downstream users with robust safety information and best practice guidelines. The comprehensive guide covers essential materials such as PTFE, ETFE, FEP, PFA and PVDF, all of which are widely used in tensile architecture. The FPG and its members are dedicated to ensuring the safe use, sustainable manufacturing and responsible end-of-life solutions of fluoropolymers.
The TensiNet Working Group Sustainability and Comfort and its industrial members will organise this FREE WEBINAR about the PFAS restriction process, fluoropolymers and PFAS, membrane materials and the next SEAC consultation. Lectures from 10.00-11.30, with time for discussion: 11.30-12.00

Techtextil 2026
21 - 24 April 2026
Innovations often arise from unexpected encounters. From April 21 to 24, 2026, we will celebrate these special meetings once again, with countless national and international exhibitors showcasing the full spectrum of high-tech textiles across twelve application areas. However, research, development, and scalable implementation thrive best when the entire value chain is present. That's why Texprocess will be held in close proximity at the same time. This is how ideas turn into results.
IASS Annual Symposium 2026 and IWSS 2026
14 - 18 September 2026R-EVOLUTION OF SHAPES: SUSTAINABILITY, RE-USE, AND NEW DESIGN PARADIGMS
IASS Annual Symposium 2026 – 3rd Italian Workshop on Shell and Spatial Structures
The 2026 symposium intent is to encourage participants to imagine how adaptive reuse breathes new life into old structures, turning historical spaces into contemporary marvels, to stimulate discussions about sustainable practices that ensure our designs to be not only structurally efficient and beautiful, but also environmentally responsible. The organizers’ aim at cutting-edge design paradigms that challenge and expand the boundaries of structural and architectural innovation.
Hosting institution: Politecnico di Torino,Turin, Italy
8th TensiNet Symposium 2026 & 7th Essener Membranbau Symposium 2026
