Description
The project was developed based on the beautiful mountain and volcano landscapes that sourround the top of the valley in wich this membrane was installed.
The color used resembles somehow the sense of the Baroque architecture as well the colonial style of the city which has been designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1979.
The membrane itself, has 6 cones formed by central masts derived from a lightweight structure combined with concrete reenforcements.
Description of the environmental conditions
Due to its location on top of a valley, sometimes it whithstands heavy winds and rain.
Antigua Guatemala has an average temperature of 22oC.
