Description
The overall Architectural design of this exceptional school was developed by Guatemalan Architect Mario Alvarez; the membrane design was based on the pyramidal concept of the school´s architecture. The specifications for our company “CUBRE” were to develop a membrane cover with no internal supports, no external cables and represent the use of new technology for the upcoming generations. The external beam system was developed to support the top of the pyramids and a special internal tensioning device was used to provide the architectural form.
