Description
The project is comprised of final engineering, fabrication and installation of a custom designed tensile structure, termed the "The machine Tent". It will be set up in five locations in the US, one each in Tokyo, Sydney, Cologne, Mexico City, vancouver and Barcelona. The said structure would be part of a much larger travelling venue that would be set up to celebrate 100th anniversary of harley davidson Motor Company. "The Machine Tent" has a circular configuration, with a clear internal diameter of 49 m. It comprises of a central mast, with six secondary masts with a costum arch segment top. The circular configuration is broken down into six identical fields, which would enable quick fabrication and installation. Emphasis must be laid on installation time. Time available would be limited to a maximum of 3 days/setup.
