Description
The central core of this theater- building is made of an ellipsoidal concrete body. On this strong perimeter are placed the covering beams made of steel. Around the cylindrical shape body a structure constituted of 22 small girders which bear a kind of parvis. This roofing, partly anchored to the concrete walls and partly leaned on the floor, has been conceived to act as the supporting skeleton of the outer cladding: an orange membrane. Fabric used is silicone coated fiberglass due to its strength but above all to its translucency.
