Description

The membrane covering of the Italian pavilion for the Expo 2000/Hannover reveals some of the main advantages of membrane structure: Very low dead load, therefore suitable for wide span structures; highly translucent; easy and fast erection. In this case the membrane suits as a skin on the primary timber dome structure.
